Donations are a significant topic of society, and at the same time, many people debate whether or not everyone should hand out a portion of their income. To my way of thinking, it is ethical for us to contribute and donate as we can to bring into a greater and more equal society.
In the next section, I will give some example to support my position.
The government can not fully provide accessible conditions for all people. Therefore, it is critical for individuals to make amount of donations to non-profit organizations to improve the standard of living of people in a vastly effective way. An example of this is a project in Mongolia that was done with donations. It is a charitable organization that, with the help of from individuals, created a children’s playground and green grove in the Ger neighborhood ( a remote area of the city) of Ulaanbaatar. By beginning with small acts like the one mentioned, if individuals constantly donate, we have the ability to collectively develop highly beneficial contributions to society. Besides, the most of all it makes us feel good. Because giving is in our nature, as a people, generosity is in our genes. Thus, when we donate, we feel extremely valued and feel more part of the community.
Admittedly, I understand that some people think that it is the government’s duty to improve society, and individuals should not donate. However, I believe that it is more easier and more efficient to start with ourselves as individuals.
To summarize, I fully agree that encourage everyone to donate a part of their income as much as possible. So, that we can create a more suitably future society together
