It is true that there have been significant changes in the eating habits of people that have resulted in obesity and other health issues in many countries. There may be two main reasons for which this phenomenon has occurred, such as a busy lifestyle as well as a lack of nutrition education in their lives. There are certain measures that could tackle this problem and improve their eating habits.
To commence with, as we are living in a modern era, there are multiple restaurants and cafes that can prepare delicious meals that include delivery services. Therefore, today a host of individuals can order various meals from there because they are full of work and busyness with their own jobs, which can cause not only a sedentary lifestyle but also obesity. In addition to this, a lot of bloggers and advertisers are posting news or advertisements related to food on their Instagram blogs instead of teaching valuable knowledge which is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a consequence, it may bring major issues to inhabitants, specifically their health.
To tackle this issue, several actions should be taken. For example, it is commonly understood that the government should tax companies which produce unhealthy foods, including fizzy drinks and sugary products, since consuming too much sugar can accelerate the ageing process. Moreover, the authority should support economic factors that plant fresh fruits and vegetables, as they could guarantee a healthy lifestyle. No sooner do individuals feel the deep benefits of those kinds of products than they begin abstaining from dairy products. From this, it becomes quite evident that it would be better if humans consumed green vegetables and fruits.
In conclusion, after having a close look at both reasons and solutions, it is clear that although unhealthy lifestyles are coming about through technological advancements, the government can use taxation to address this serious problem.
