Nowadays, most students use artificial intelligence to complete their educational tasks. The use of AI in education can have some merits, but in muy opinion too much reliance on it may have a few negative impacts as well. This essay will examine some of the major causes of the increasing dependency on AI in education.

Many learners use artificial intelligence to complete their assignments these days. This is because, AI has become very accessible to everyone. Moreover, it is extremely accurate, reliable and convenient. Students believe that using AI to do their schoolwork saves their time and energy. For instance, a task requiring 2 hours of an average student’s work might be completed by an AI model in 10 to 15 minutes.

Undoubtedly, artificial intelligence has proved to be very beneficial for humans. It has made our lives much easier. The use of AI and automation is encouraged in almost all industries including education manufacturing, design, media and customer services. It can be used by teachers in classrooms to enhance pupil’s understanding of the difficult concepts as well.

From my perspective, using artificial intelligence to complete educational tasks might have some drawbacks too. Students may find it very easy to get their work done using AI. They may become considerably dependent on AI algorithms and find no need to use their own mind. Consequently, creativity, problem solving and various other skills of learners are likely to be decreased. For example, the purpose of a data analysis task might be to increase the critical thinking skills of a student, but if they end up doing it using AI, the objective of the task would not be achieved.

It can be concluded that the use of AI is advantageous to make technological advancements. But students should not become too much dependent on AI. This will result in reducing their creativite and critical thinking skills. If we use AI for the improvement of society rather than relying on it to do our routine work, it can be very helful for us.
