In some countries, a lot of people are addicted to consuming junk foods. This essay will look at the reasons for this and propose some solutions with relevant examples in the following paragraphs.
One of the main causes of the problem is busy schedule at work. What I mean is that people are trying to save time by eating quickly. One clear example is that in most offices people try to have lunch quickly. Because of this, they will order fast food. The solution for this is that the authorities should limit the amount of half-ready meals in workplaces.
Another reason for this issue is that there are fewer limitation laws and taxes on fast food and the price of them in restaurants and cafes. In other words, fast foods are sold at ower price that everyone can afford to purchase or order in public places. In addition, governments simply turn a blind eye to limiting the consumption of those fatty foods in most cases. To solve this problem, governments should introduce high taxes and increase the price of those kinds of ready meals. By introducing certain taxes and setting higher prices on these foods, the government can decrease the consumption of half-ready foods.
All things considered, having fast foods is becoming more popular all around the world. From my perspective, government should take immediate and serious action to decrease the amount of consumption of fast food in society.
