It is thought by some that the government should allocate more funds on the arts, while others think that more money should spend on other areas namely, health and education. In my opinion, a country’s administration should fund money in all crucial areas appropriately and this includes arts, education and health.
On the one hand, government should invest money on arts, namely, painting, poetry, sculptures. Spending money on arts not only preserves country’s fine moments but also aids in the development of a country. In other words, encouraging art can help reduce unemployment as people engage in different activities of selling paintings, making dramas, publishing poetry. It also attracts tourists and helps improve the economy. For example, Taj Mahal in India is sculptured by 20,000 artists and is one of the main attractions today, which brings tourists from many countries in turn helps improve the economy.
On the other hand, government should consider investing equally in health and education. Firstly, providing better education aids in understanding the importance of life and thereby decrease the crime as education teaches the difference between right and wrong. In addition, education also reduces the poverty as people can come up with ideas to start a business or gain the ability to work smarter, which also contributes to the country’s revenue. Secondly, providing better health care helps improve the quality of life. It helps individuals to seek medical help at low cost and it is beneficial, especially, for old ages and people with a minimum income.
In my opinion, a country should fund appropriately for all aspects that are required for a nation’s success and it may not be just arts or education. The decision should be made based on the people and their situation in the country and there should be a balance in doing this.
