In recent years, because of many reasons, crime rate in many countries is increase rapidly. Certainly, the increasing of prison population effect to society. In this essay, I will discuss about the main cause of the increasing of prisoners and how it’s impact to citizen.
Firstly, about the factor of growth of crime. There are many reasons make an individual be a lawbreaker. In my perspective, there are three mainly factors included subjective causes, objective causes and unwanted situations. First thing, about subjective reasons. It’s depended on characters and the ways of thinking of each person. Sometimes it because of the corruption, imitation, jealousy, hatred or lack of knowledges and ethics. In the other hand, it can because of psychosis or strange excitement, pervert. Second thing, about objective causes. Those reasons are due to the education, habitats, society and relationships around the crimes. If children are nurtured in a bad habitats with neglectful parents or interact with a worse education, they will lack knowledges, live skills and morality, develop psychological instability, be easily lured into crime, and have difficulty controlling their actions. Besides, poverty and unemployment are also reasons that push people into crime. People who can not earn through legal jobs often choose the way that commit crime to make money such as theft. Finally, it’s about some situations make some people not intentionally can’t control themselves and become criminals. Some cases as needy, in debt, self-defense, ….
Secondly, there are many influences when the prisoners increase. The first is impact on the security and safety of people. An increase in prisoners can create concerns about security and safety in community. Especially people worry about prisoners re-offending after release from prison. The second is cause the fear in everyone. The growth of law breaker can create an atmosphere of anxiety and worry in society, as people feel insecure about their security and underlying conditions.
In a nutshell, there are various of reasons cause people choose the way that to be a violation, beside that is many effects to citizen. However, it also has many way to solve the problem of increasing levels of crime. And I believe that, if citizens and government try to promote violation reduction activities together, we can build and develop a safer and more civilized world.
