People have difference views about the privacy of the new technology device regarding the use of faces as passcodes. While some argue that using this tool is more safe and practical, I belive that the facial identification will be harmful.
On the one hand, there are some drawbacks towards the trend of using the tool of facial recognition. The main disadvantage is the digital devide. When it come to the technology, the elderly individual are not likely to use technology effectively. Many researchers say that older adults in rural areas do not have smartphones to operate their banking business. Another downsite of this safety system is that it can be error from people do who the facial surgery. When people immigrate to another country, they might be baned to enter the airport because their faces do not match identity.
Despite the negatives mentioned above, citizens still have various benefits. Firstly, residents can enter their house more conveniece. When the owner of the house have facial recognition system, he can use this system to replace the keycard. Secondly, it is highly secure. If robbers would like to rob the house, no one can replaced house owners.
In conclusion, it is not wrong to use the security system by scaning faces but it should be carefully used.
