Band 6+: In many countries, there is an increasing reliance on processed foods, leading to various health problems. What are the primary reasons people choose processed foods over fresh alternatives, and what steps can governments and individuals take to reverse this trend?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, many people from big cities prefer to eat processed foods because of a lack of time and ambrosial taste, which make citizens addicted. There are a host significan problem affecting on people’s health. This issue can be resolved by authorities, who should restrict sellings of that type of product, and individuals need to consume healthy food.

One of the major reasons why the eating of processed foods grows is the fact that modern residents do not have enough time for eating properly. Being delicious and cheap, processed foods have started being the most renowned and famous choice among busy workers and employees. For example, being the most chaotic city, New-York has expanded shops with processed meals for people, who need to eat fast and vigorous. It has changed workers’ minds about home food, which should be cooked. Moreover, the popularity of that product has increased, and a tremendous number of employees notice how their bodies and feeling have decreased. By contrast, empolyers receive a good productivity among their workers because they do not spend time for eating and do their work on time. Thus, it cannot be denied that big cities force people to eat unhealthy products because of needings of good workers. What is more, if New-York had not increased the amount of processed foods, it would not have lost the temp , and the city would have stopped moving forward.

The biggest problem is that people can gain weight and feel poorly. Processed foods have many handicaps, such as unhealthy ingredients and heavy chemicals for taste. This problem can be solved by governments, who can ban processed foods in supermarkets. For example, having the issue with sugar in daily meals, Dubai has shown a huge concern about their workers. Furthermore, the Dubai’s government has increased the price on processed foods for declining consumption of sugar. They claim that it will help to people, which diet includes only that type of product. What is more, residents have started organising food festivals, where people cook only home and healthy dishes. It can support an idea about tasty meals from home. Hence, it is shown that authorities should fight against processed foods with restriction and encouraging new concepts about helpful food because it can affect badly on citizens’ health and life.

In addition, the grat taste and affordability of processed food can induce many problems, such as overweighting and catastrophic moods. That issue can be handled by governments or people, where they can stop eating and selling that product.
