Nowadays, there has been an increase in the number of females who are opting to work over doing domestic chores in many nations. While this trend tends to offer obvious benefits, including financial independence and self-reliance, the drawbacks, such as lack of family time and stress from the workplace, should not be neglected.
One of the significant positive impacts might be independence in finance. This is because having a job at a company can lead them to gain their own financial support. With their salaries, they no longer need to ask for financial help from other family members. For instance, it is completely agreeable to use the money freely. Additionally, another important factor is self-reliance in life. To clarify this, women have to do a number of tasks by themselves. In other words, they have to do tasks without relying on others, which will further lead them to improve self-reliance.
On the other hand, the shift toward this trend has its own detrimental outcomes. One of the drawbacks is that they cannot be together with their family as they used to. Every time they go out to work is another time that they inevitably miss important moments with the family. Furthermore, stress from their work also counts as a drawback. It is clear that most of their stress comes from the workplace. The reason is that the work industry is a developing community, and there are always new problems that need to be solved. If they have to maintain stable work tasks and give solutions to the problems, it is totally miserable for them. As an impact, they experience loads of depression and pressures.
In conclusion, despite there being some advantages to women working professionally and their ability to work alone, the drawbacks of losing family moments and the demand from career should not be overlooked.
