In today’s contemporary lifestyle, people accustomed to the modern way of living. Consequently, this kind of lifestyle is leading to a disappearance of national traditions. Despite the convenience in modern way of living, I believe that cultural customs should be maintained and respected, since our traditions are heritage left by our ancestors, and they constantly remind us of our identity.

There are several benefits of the urbanized lifestyle. Firstly, rapidly developing world have been brought a wide range of developed opportunities to the society. For instance, it is became accessible shopping online through advanced programs, such as Amazon, Wildberries, Taobao and so on. People can order any kind of items, not only brand garments, but also grocery products. Modernization improved quality of life in every field. Through cutting-edge technologies, such as highly qualified cameras, remotely controlled drones and clever security systems, facilitated works of police officers. Nowadays, communities paying more attention to the women’s realization and literacy. Women’s giving speech in prestigious organizations including, WHO, UNICEF UNECSO and so on, can serve as a clever example.

Contemporary way of living offers a lot of advantages, however, there are several drawbacks that individuals need to consider in order to preserve age-old customs. If people stop purchasing and going to local farmers’ markets, this action impacts negatively to income of local farmers and small businesses. For example, often farmers sell their fresh products directly to the consumers. Without buyers, farmers may struggle both financially and deteriorations in their product quality. Furthermore, even though online shopping saves time, it encourages a sedentary lifestyle and can contribute to obesity. Moreover, urbanization increases energy consumption, pollution and waste. For instance, mass production in factories and rise in the number of vehicles leads to a air and noise pollutions. The construction of numerous buildings results to a deforestation.

In conclusion, while there are a lot of positive aspects came from modern living patterns, such as, modernization and evaluation in perspectives, these also creates significant changes in social, environmental and health terms. Therefore, in individuals hybrid both approach it can result to a positive consequences.
