There’s a strong belief that the replacement of local cusisine with fast food has deprimental results not only for families, but also for societies. I strongly support this vision as this change can cause health issues alongside the loss of identity and culture.
For starters, many diseases that people suffer from are actually stemmed from bad eating habits. Due to the fact that traditional dishes can help us obtain necessary nutrients and energy in contrast to fast food, common dishes should not be replaced with junk food. For example, many traditional meals include proteins, vitamins and minerals which are essential for a balanced life.
Furthermore, a cuisine relating to a specific place also demonstrates the identity and the culture of that region. Since, traditionally common food is unique to each country, opting for junk food would result in less appreciation of culture and heritage. As exemplified in China insects became more common in eating due to a draught happened there a long time ago, showing how a country found a way to battle with scarcity.
To conclude, pushing the legal age for driving or using motorcycles in traffic much further rather than letting inexperienced drivers fill the roads would enable us with more aware drivers enhancing life longevity and more time spent on becoming one.
