In the era of modernization, constructing new buildings in the high-tech style has become the trend in the worldwide.However, some outdated buildings can be the hairloom of the certain country and it can be incorrect to demolish and replace them new.This essay will discuss both merits and demerits of this widespread trend.

To begin with, it is evident that in our quickly developing world diverse buildings for manifold city facilities are constructing every day.Thus, it leads to the lack of available spaces.In other words, in this occasion governments have to build constructions by knocking down the outdated ones but some of them can keep a special history and meaning for the country.For example, if take into consideration the familiar old buildings in Japan first buildings that come to mind it is the Hiroshima and Nagasaki.There are old building in Nagasaki that has bombed during the Second war and now this building still remain because it is considered to be the national heritage.Consequently, if Japanese government had decided to knock down this building, the history of that place would be forgotten and would play a minor role in the society.

In other hand, it is thought to be the right decision to demolish old building as it is not give any neediness for citizens and it would be better to replace them with new constructions such as cafe, restaurants, accomodatations, and amusement parks.To be more specific, some old buildings can be just an abandoned building without any specific history.Hence, if authorities will raze such constructions it won’t be the problem and even better there will be greater opportunity to enhance and modernize place.Also, it will enhance the appearance of the city cause nowadays there are plenty of abandoned buildings that lower the appearance of the area.

In conclusion, there are several pros and cons of whether keep this buildings or knock them down.I personally beilieve that there are more advantages of knocking them down.However, it should be taken into consideration if that buildings have a special meaning or history of the city and it will be better to demolish them or take them under the preservation.
