In the context of marriage dynamics, how money is organized in the household depends on each couple’s situation. Some choose to work together to support the family financially, while others may be more comfortable with one partner focused on their career while the other takes care of the household or children. In this paper, I will give my views about the responsibility of both spouses to earning a living for the family.
In some situations, either the husband or wife may choose to work to support the family financially. This can be caused by economic needs, career aspirations or other personal issues. In such cases, it can indeed be seen as the responsibility of parties to contribute to the financial well being of the family.
However, there are also situations where one partner focuses on career while the other focuses on household matters, such as cleaning the house, take care of the children or other household taks. In case like this, sharing of work may be unbalaned in terms of earning a living, but it can still be a mutually agreeable deal that works for the couple.
In this context, I agree that the responsibility of both spouses to earn a living for the family, because both partners have a shared responsibility in providing the familiy’s economic needs.
In conclusion, Earning a living is the responsibility of both spouses, but it all depends on the agreement of both parties.
