Different countries have different types of handwriting patterns. Now a day advancement of technology takes handwriting skills to the backseat. In this essay, I intend to talk about the importance of handwriting, many arguments surround my opinion.
Many individuals argue that computer typing makes work easier, more effective, and efficient. It is always user-friendly for the children. However, I disagree with that statement because to learn basic computer skills we should be able to read properly so that skill comes through by writing. Therefore learning proper handwriting skills must be from the beginning. Practice in handwriting is crucial for the hand movement of the kids in kindergarten. Further, it increases the level of critical thinking while writing it can open the mind and brain development.
Furthermore, Handwriting is one of the cultural aspects and it implies core values and importance because different countries have different handwriting patterns, and still many government organizations in Sri Lanka have documentation activities that happen manually therefore it is necessary to have writing skills.
to sum up we can not underestimate the value of writing skills because it is very essential even today.
