Nowadays, people are moving to the urban areas from villages, which is leading to the expansion of cities. I think there are more cons than pros. It can be hard to move from one place to another in cities. And overpopulation also effect cities environment.
On the one hand, there are some advantages of moving to the cities. Firstly, there will be more job opportunities, especially in industries, services and technology. As population growth, factory and some manufacturers need more employees, because of, expansion of cities, factories and also population. Moreover, many people are moving to cities in search of better life. In countryside, there are no so much living standards as urban areas. People from villages want to improve their knowledge of technologies and also want to earn money more than past.
On the other hand, there are more cons of replacement to the modern town. Rapid population growth in urban areas often leads to traffic congestion, noise pollution and also some food shortage. As a people getting more, there will be more transport than due to this traffic congestion and noise pollution will be more than the past. Moreover, there are not enough affordable houses to live in standards which people want. As a result, many people are getting pushed into poor living conditions. And there is the main disadvantage, loss of agricultural workforce. After moving to towns from countryside, there will not be any workforce in some villages, as a result, food shortage can be clearly seen in the future. In addition, there will be more crimes and also unemployment leads to some social issues. From this situations, there will be more work to do to poverty.
In conclusion, there are more cons of moving to modern cities leaving agricultural countryside. It can be lead to overpopulation, food shortage, and also social issues. However there some pros. First is better job opportunities and higher living standards.
