In today’s society, many parents are adopting a new learning approach, which is relying on home schooling rather than normal teaching technique. As a result, like any thing introduced into universe, this new technique has propelled the teaching process trend into spotlight , prompting a discourse on its merits and demerits. Therefore, this essay will discuss the advantages and the disadvantages showing the major arguments for people’s opinions. In addition, it will explain why the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
On one hand, there are a lot of advantages appeared regarding home schooling trend. One of them is time saving when dealing with such educating process, this approach save the time consumed in the transportation while going from school to home or the opposite, avoiding all the hurdles that consumes the time spent in traffic without any use. Thus greatly saves all the time for the classes or for the education maximizing the efficiency and the productivity in the classes achieving the greatest progress relying on that approach.
another advantage states that less effort is required adopting such teaching method. beside time saving the home schooling will require less effort and energy leaving the rest of the effort for the child to make it beneficial for his own use. home schooling will make an individual avoid all the physical movements and effort happening in school saving it for more important activity or habit to do.
On the other side, following such approach have many drawbacks like less real social interaction which strongly will affect the child personality. Meanly following that will weaken the child’s ability to make friends or to talk to his peers; in addition it will affect his opportunities to make real relationships in the future. Meanwhile, the same technique will harm the child’s sense of discipline due to the absence of the morning routine in the school, in addition to following restricted time tables for his teachers.
In conclusion, the decision to follow whatever technique carries many pros and cones. following one approach will save much effort and time while the other will not. However it will postpone the child’s self discipline and his personality. Afterward, a personal preference of mine tend to keep the learning process in school neglecting its drawbacks as a choice.
