It has become a matter of concern that in some of the nations, it is commonly seen that individuals who are over 50 year old are having difficulties for having a good job, in spite of their knowledge and experience. I think to this problem, there are several causes, as well as solutions which will be elaborated in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with causes, why elderly people find it hard to get a good job, firstly, it is the work efficiency of older people which is most concerning. As, most of elders have less energy to work, they are unable to complete records, files and fails to submit it before the given time period, due to this, the company is unable to young people who work actively and maintain the file regularly. Also, hiring younsters in inexpensive as they are hired at less salary.
Shifting attention towards the solution of this problem, first of all, government should take some measures, such as employing elderly people in government jobs so that they can earn proper salary to support their livelihood. Moreover, it should be mandatory for every company to choose their staff according to the skills and experience, not in accordance to age, because the older people are much wiser than the youngsters and can make a company successful in the business.
To conclude, there are several causes of the problem to get the job, but by taking effective measures, it can be solved and a future of elders will be ensured.
