Nowadays, rules about getting a job is different in many countries. For example, in some places, age should not be important when hiring new workers. In my opinion, this is not a good change because it makes it harder for young people to get jobs and can make businesses work worse.
First of all, if people of all ages can get the same job, then older people who have more experience usually get the job. Companies think experience is very important to get good results. Because of that, young people, like students who just finish university, have problems finding jobs. They don’t have much experience, so companies don’t want to choose them. This makes young people upset because they want to start working but can’t find a job easy.
Also, older workers sometimes don’t have as much energy as young ones. They need more time to do work and maybe they don’t know how to use new technology like computers or new programs. So, their work is not always helpful for the company. Later, this can make the company less successful and not grow well.
In conclusion, I think that governments should think about making age limits for some jobs. Older people maybe have experience, but they don’t always have energy or modern skills. If they don’t take all the jobs, young people can have more chances to work and help the country too.
