Education can play a pivotal role in youngsters’ lives. On the one hand, some parents argue it will be more productive to teach their kids at home ; on the other hand, others contend that there is no such need and the schools are able to fully educate their children. While there are both advantages and disadvantages associated with this measure , the negative aspects of teaching kids by parents take precedence over the benefits.
It is essential in youth education to acquire knowledge from sources which are reputable; also, absence of children in schools can create mental difficulties. Firstly, parents do not have as much knowledge as teachers do ,hence , kids are less likely to ultimately pass their exams if they are homeschooled , whereas in school ,the achievements of pupils are controlled by educated staff ,therefore, they are able to monitor progress. Secondly, while children are due to stay in their homes the chances of forming friendships are undoubtedly lesser. Thus, children are not able to meet the most genuine and fine people in their lives and this can contribute to development of mental problems such as loneliness or even dementia.
However, there are some downsides to this phenomenon such as an increased chance of getting sworn enemies , yet another can be time management which in homeschooling is more efficient. In spite of educational benefits that stem from learning at school , Children can encounter their enemies who are expected to bully them ,therefore, the stress in school can occur which reduces the potential of pupils. Furthermore, at the school, time schedule is not as flexible as in the homeschooling system, so children are more likely to waste their crucial time. For example, students need to participate in every class not only in those subjects which they are most interested in. The school system, despite having these disadvantages, is more convenient for students as well as for parents who do not need to spend time on teaching their own children and its drawbacks are not as important as these terms.
Taking all matters into consideration , I firmly believe that although homeschooling is beneficial in some aspects, its downsides outweigh its benefits.
