Band 7+: In some countries people prefer to rent a house, rather than buying the house. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting home?

In a particular country, a large portion of the population opts for renting apartments rather than buying them and changing the ownership of the house to themselves. What are the advantages and disadvantages of leasing a house?

For some people, renting is financially beneficial due to its flexibility and fewer financial responsibilities, such as paying fees for utilities. Renting allows people to move quickly between apartments without the hassle of selling property or dealing with furniture transportation. Additionally, renting is economically advantageous because the rental fee often includes utilities, making it more affordable. Renters only need to pay a monthly payment rather than a large lump sum for an entire house.

Despite the numerous advantages associated with renting a house, such as flexibility and lower upfront costs, there are also several disadvantages that can potentially discourage people from opting for rental properties. The lack of ownership and limited control over a rented property can create difficulties for renters. Renters cannot build long-term financial benefits since they are paying for a house they will never own. Furthermore, it may be more financially unwise if utilities are not included, and individuals have to pay for them separately. Moreover, the lack of control can be inconvenient. Sometimes, the rental contract may prohibit renters from making significant changes to the house or even from making minor adjustments.

In conclusion, renting provides flexibility and reduces financial risk, but it lacks the control and long-term benefits of homeo
