Using many private cars become troublesome nowadays for the sake of traffic jams and environmental pollution. Therefore, banning the usage of own cars in certain cities could be the right things in certain extent.
From the time being, not only in well-developed countries but also in developing ones, the ownerships of private cars become raising day by day. It is one the most important facts in increasing traffic jams and carbon footprints. Using the car is the rights of people as that type of transport is convenient and can reach to the desired places directly. But, too much cars in crowded cities are restricted by government.
There are many advantages of such a restriction system in usage of private cars. For example, this can reduce the number of cars on busy roads especially in rush hours as many people with same direction of terminal places go with public transportation such as trains or buses or ferries. It can be beneficial in ways of reducing not only air pollutions that are released from each motorcars but also noise pollutions that are common in traffic areas.
However, every action has both advantages and disadvantages. Also in this situation, drawbacks are present such as most of people prefer to drive their own car as it can be more private and relaxing. Private cars can reach to every detailed places with personal choice and time which cannot be provided by public transport. Although this has some drawbacks, benefits outweigh side effects.
From my prospective, this system should be adopted in many countries due to many positive outcomes. To encourage this, the government also need to upgrade the standard of public transportation to be easily accessible and time-consuming by developing high speed rail systems that are connecting throughout the countries and building flyovers in traffic popular regions. Therefore, banning the use of own cars can be applied in every persons without disturbing their daily lives.
