in few countries government encourage to use the public transport as primary source of transportation and discourages to own private vehicles in my opinion it has many advantages and few disadvantages and some factors are economic environmental and healthy life
when we use public transport specially an electric transport system or low emitting transport we can save a lot of carbon footprints and energy ,using public transport will cause less traffic on road and there will be no traffic jams and people will be more punctual using this , and there will be no need of parking space and maintenance cost to afford a vehicle just use public transport and pay less taxes
there will be some disadvantages like when we use public transport there will be less freedom to move and sometimes it will not be available for all areas where we want to visit Private vehicles ofer greater flexibility and convenience, allowing individuals to travel on their own schedules and to locations not easily accessible by public transport
to conclude The advantages of promoting public transport as a primary means of transportation generally outweigh the disadvantages, particularly from an environmental, economic, and urban planning perspective.
