In many countries, the official authority promotes public transport to lower private vehicle use. I think the benefits of this policy surpass the disadvantages. In the following essay, I will demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages and provide a logical conclusions.
There are many advantages; I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Firstly, public transportation helps to reduce traffic congestion. When the majority of people use them, especially New York, Dhaka or in a busy city, it helps to save people’s time as they do not need more time to go to their workplace. As a result, they could do more productive work, while they are able to save their time.
Secondly, public transportation saves people’s money. Maintaining a private vehicle is costly and is not affordable by everyone. Whereas, individuals can easily afford the cost of public transport in their regular lives. For example, individuals no needs to renew car insurance and upgrade vehicles parts in every year.
Furthermore, it helps to reduce extra hassle, as they do not need to find parking for their vehicles. Pollution such as air and sound would be reduced by using public transportation. It helps to balance the oxygen level in the air, because more vehicles causes more air pollution.
In conclusion, using both public and private vehicle has some benefits. However, i believe that, the advantages of public transport are surpassed when more people avoid to using private vehicles. Therefore, authorities should promotes public transportation for make easier their people’s lives. We need to encourage people for using public transportation.
