Band 5+: In some countries, the number of people who visit art galleries is declining. What are the reasons for this, and what can be done to solve this problem?

These days it is observed that art and craft plays an important role in the society because it is a bridge between every religion, culture and era, offers the universal language. Despite this, in majority of the regions, the interest among people about visiting the art galleries is decreasing. It has many causes and its measurements. Which will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs.

To begin with, there are a plethora of intentions such as boring, technological dependency and more, that indicates the trend of visiting art galleries goes downwards among people. To explain it further, in majority of the art museum written notes are available to describe the particular art rather than videos or docent. As a result, not only those who feel boredom to read anything but the people who do not know the written language, need to see only the pictures, idols and sculptures either which remains the mystery. Additionally, nowadays because of technology people can find anything on the internet for free of cost so that they think that why would they pay for the things which is available on the internet for free with more information in a virtual way. For instance, according to a survey by Times Of Global, the rate of visiting the art and craft museum is dipped by 47% more than the internet is invented.

However, This problem also have some solutions like advertisement and affordable entries. To elaborate it, government should promote such kind of arts by organising the events, via newspaper and e-news so that people can be aware that how it is important to visit the art galleries. Furthermore, every art galleries should reduce the cost of entry, people generally get attract to it and also many schools may think about to let the students visit it. As, the people interest in terms of visiting the museum may increase.

In conclusion, aspects like much hand written information and availability on internet discourages people not to willing into the art galleries, meanwhile this can be overcome by making the enteries free or decreasing the amount for the visitors as well as public awareness can definitely help to solve this concern.
