Band 5+: In some countries, there has been an increase in the number of advertisements which try to persuade children to buy snacks, toys, and other goods. Parents often claim that these ads are unfair. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In some nations, companies have targeted to children through adverts such as snacks, toys and other goods. So, according to parents these ads are unfair. In this essay, I will discuss both view and also I will give my own views.

To commence with, there are number of ads which try to lure children to purchase items. Firstly, they target sensitive child so some censorships are limit children access to excess. For instance, in toy industry, they printed colourful poster and beautiful design to attract children. Thus, children irritate their parents to purchase toys. In addition, even fast foods make attractive commercial to tempt children. For example, in McDonald use slim-trim models and they never eat this kind of junk foods, but children are alluring easily.

On the other hand, parents usually blame that these ads are wrong, because they know this kind of ads are adverse effect on their children as well as their pocket. if children saw toys ads and then they insist their parents to buy that item so, parents waste their money. Moreover, fast foods are not healthy for children because junk foods rich in salt, sugar and fat which leads to obesity and others diseases.

I believe that, no every ads are unfair because some advertisement provides correct information. Toothpaste adverts provide knowledge about children should brush teeth twice a day and children follow it, so this is positive impact on children. Also, ads about drinks like Complan and Bournvita powder its beneficial for children growth. What is more, adverts also help to spread awareness about tree plantation , clean surrounding areas and avoid wastage water etcetera.

To sum up, although, there are some negative effect on children through adverts , in my opinion positive impacts are far more among children.
