In this so called an ‘advanced society’, the people are more influenced by media than anything else. This is good in a way as it a more successful mode to stream the artists’ work to reach the big group of audience. But in the other side, nowadays these social platforms are more money oriented, that poses a major hurdle for the genuinely talented group out there.
Take for example, after the pandemic, in India, nearly every household runs a YouTube channel, just for recording some random content. By this, the viewers are more likely to fall into these no-content deliverables since the number of quality art is decreasing. Even there are many star kids, who are actually the children of famous celebrities. The media focuses their life a lot therefore making them popular from an young age with no talents at such. This make the audience to have no choice rather than falling into this web. An another good supporting point is the rise of a Tamil language YouTuber, who got famous very recently, only by scolding in all his videos. It represents the peak of ‘no talent yet famous’ category. Even the wordings in songs, dialogues are more likely to be in some foreign language than in the native language since the visual media is westernizing people completely.
Thus its high time to start the trend of ‘boycotting no-content media’. This would definitely pave way for only pure talent group to rise again thereby its decline would be reversed.
