In some lands, youngsters are incentivized to take a “gap year” before they are about to participate in university. Personally, I regard this notion as very controversially problematic with both learners and their social fellowships as they properly cannot avoid lure and traps during a free year.
Firstly, many people deem that a gap year for young people can help them gain experience and broaden their acquaintanceship simultaneously. This subjective view originated from bad aftermaths in Asia – a place where industrial education is still applied for many countries in the whole continents. As reliable research from University of Southampton suggested, 80% of Asian youngsters are unsatisfied with the curriculum and academic branch in their school or college. That results in the ensuing indulgence from their parents, letting them to take a “gap year” in order to alleviate stress and pressure.
On the other hand, the rest from other locations such as America and Scandinavia are disposed to take part in higher academies or find a job immediately. This is because they are rapidly ambitious and practical since their mentors and teachers have already apprised them about the limitation of time and challenges in real life. Also, these juveniles are not misled that they must become a flawless person, comparing to those in Asian.
In my observational perspective, I reckon that immatures can receive a host of advantages from opting university instantly rather than other choices. Along with that, higher levels of understanding things will be able to reinforce their skills on many diverse angles and evolve their potentially innate human dignity. Soon, employers will choose individuals with highly feasible remedy which is suitable for their company merely in management and calculation fields. Surprisingly, the other stands will be given for robots and machines.
Last but not least, a gap year for youngsters can expand their social relationships and deepen their understanding; however; they can easily be tempted to many sorrowful dark sides from society. I conclude that young people should trigger their studying campaign in university when everything is not too late.
