In recent times, a lot of countries are experiencing a trend, where the young generations have been neglecting their right to vote. This essay will explore how lack of education and poor government policies, and how through better education and effective government policies, this problem can be curtailed.
There are the multiple causes of adult neglect their right to vote. Firstly, lack of education can be labeled as the root cause of this problem. As, when the adults are not educated, and do not understand the democratic because they have low interest in politics and development of country. Take an example of Japan, during the media interview, the anchor were asked students, why they chose not to vote, their most common answer was that one vote does not make any difference. Thus, lack of education can be considered as the fueling force behind this issue.
Secondly, apart from lack of education, poor government policies are also a major contributing factor of this menace. As, poor government policies were effected the young generation in terms of job opportunities. Government did not provide jobs to adults. That is why most of the Youngers neglect their right to vote. For instance, according to a survey in China, almost thirst five percent of the new generation does not have jobs because of the poor government policies in China. Hence, poor government policies can be considered as the breeding ground of this issue.
However, there are certain viable measures that can be taken to curb adult’s neglects to write their vote. The primary solution, I believe would be better education. As, schools would provide education about democratic, and also provide awareness about politics. Furthermore, effective government policies can also be an effective solution. As, government makes effective policies and makes laws and regulation for providing better job opporunties to their young generation.
To sum up, even though lack of education, and poor governement policies are etremely widespread in many socities, but I believe through better education and effective government policies, this problem can be tackled.
