There are many reasons why government are trying to solve this problem. First and foremost, because of increasing average life expectancy, the number of old ages people are growing. As a result, many companies are in trouble to hire productive employee. As the old peoples are not able to earn anymore, they spend their time at home. For instance, they start to attacked by many new disease. Consequently, it increase new expenses like – madicine, food, nurse etc. Last but not the least, government provides pension and free treatments to old people, which is a type of extra expenses for not getting any returns.
Few steps can be taken to decrease the bad effect of ageing population. Firstly, government can develop the education and give proper training to increase the ability of working. In effect, productivity would be rise in every company. Secondly, States can encourage its people to reproduce, Which may help to increase young workers in future, as Japanese authority is trying to inspire its people through movies, social media and anime. Moreover, residents can be rewarded by government if they reproduce and increase their family members. And lastly, the amount of tax Should be increase by government in order to retired peoples could get pension by his own income.
In conclusion, i believe by increasing birth rate, proper education and public awareness we can cut down the impact of ageing population.
