Nowadays, an often debated topic of academia and researchers is whether artificial intelligence will take over major jobs or not. I partial agree with the fact that it will replace entry-level jobs in many sectors. However, it is very unrealistic that it will take full control and replace all jobs. This fear is often exaggeration mostly spread by outsiders.
In recent times, artificial intelligence has seen skyrocketing demand and its development is also very fast. A lot of technology companies are aggressively launching their models in the market. Naturally, this whole scenario has created a lot of panic and confusion in the general public’s mind. Somehow, the experts have a slightly different view regarding this; they repeatedly have quoted that AI will not take your job, but your job will be taken by those people who know how to use AI efficiently. In my opinion, experts are right and AI will not take our jobs, rather it will help us to improve our productivity. For instance, when the calculator was invented, it did not take mathematicians’ jobs. In a similar way, AI is just a tool to improve our daily life. Furthermore, it may change the way of working and style but definitely will not take over.
On the other hand, there is a very high chance that it will take most entry-level jobs. But to be very frank, these jobs are just boring and involve repetitive work. Although it will take entry-level jobs, senior and mid-senior level jobs will always be there.
In summary, I want to convey that AI is a very smart, personalized tool used to increase our quality of life by decreasing repetitive tasks. However, it will not take our jobs. It will just restructure the working style and theme in the IT sector.
