In the present time holidays plays an important role in the lives of every individual. Even though there exists people who loves to travel domestically, there are a group of people who loves to explore other countries as well. In my point of view both are valid points and reasons to support the statement follows.
To begin with , domestic travel is always a cheaper options for people who loves to travel and enjoy holidays. Flights and Trains are cheap and accessible within the country which are both time and money saving. To exemplify, ‘Vande Bharat Express ‘ which was launched recently by our government are connected all over the country which is a comfortable as well as budget friendly option for the citizens. Secondly, since the COVID pandemic, people are unable to travel to different countries due to the inflation and most part of the population finds it difficult to afford an international trip which ultimately lead them to explore within their own country , which also helps in building the economy of our nation.
On the other side , there are people who loves to explore different countries, in order to understand different cultures, learn new languages and also try different kinds of food all over the world. For example, there used to be an old couple in the state of Kerala , who used to run a tea shop and travelled twenty three countries with the money they saved up through their tea business. These are people with passion and curiosity to understand what is beyond their homeland.
In conclusion, I believe while some people might say planning for a holiday domestically provides a better experience others believe travelling different countries has its own advantages. Thus I partially agree with the above given statement.
