Nowadays, it is argued that making food from animals or animal goods, such as clothes and medicines is not needed anymore. I strongly disagree with this statement because there are several animal-originated cases which do not have appropriate replacements with identical characteristics. Moreover, the side effects of animal medicines are usually less than artificial ones for human health.
Although, many breakthrough developments have occurred in various industries that lead to emergence of a number of synthetic products, they cannot always beat their natural counterparts in every aspect. For example, leather products which are prepared from animal skin have some advantages, such as naturalness, authentic scents, and non-toxic fabrics. In the process of manufacturing synthetic fabrics, the adoption of chemical compositions is inevitable which are dangerous for body health. So, it is better to alter our preferences and give priority to animal clothes over others.
In recent decades, the tendency towards non-natural medicines has been increased dramatically among owners of pharmaceutical factories. This is primarily due to the lower cost of production and accelerated manufacturing scales. Besides, preparing a common animal-originated medicine requires more procedures and effort compared with its synthetic counterpart. At the same time, it should be noted that the effectiveness of natural medicines is generally much higher. Although, the overuse of animals produce efficient drugs may exacerbate environmental issues, however it seems rational that human beings continue to produce specific types of animal medicines.
In conclusion, there is a statement which questions the necessity of making food and goods from animals in the modern world. I radically disagree with the aforementioned statement, as animal ones possess some features while others lack.
