Debates about the necessity of usage animals for food, clothing and medicines has been ongoing for years. Some people argue that it is no longer essential to use animals as a source of food or for other commodities such as clothes and medicine. In this essay, I will explain why I disagree with this opinion.
Firstly, one of the primary reasons for using animals for food it is nutritious benefits that animal products provide. Animal products such as chicken, pork, beef, eggs and dairy products are high in vitamins and minerals. And these products are an excellent source of protein which is vital for muscle repair and growth. Furthermore, animal products rich on iron which essential in making hemoglobin. All those profits cant be replaced by plant-based diet or chemicals.
Secondly, products made from animals such as clothing and medicine have plenty of advantages. Materials like silk, wool, leather have been used for centuries due to their warmth and convenience. For example, clothes made from wool can be very useful in extremely cold conditions. Furthermore, medicines like the insulin which is essential for managing diabetes, was originally derived from the pancreases of cows and pigs.
In conclusion, the use of animals for food, clothing, and medicine remains crucial in the modern world. Animal products provide irreplaceable nutritional benefits, essential materials for clothing, and have been pivotal in advancing medical science. While alternatives to animal products are being explored, it is important to recognize the significant contributions that animals have made to human health, comfort, and progress
