An increasing trend for many people around the world is educational learning methods. There are those who said that students should not attend lectures, and that virtual classes are one of the best ways for this, while others believe that classrooms play a significant role for students, not only in learning but also in their careers. I completely agree with this statement, and I will discuss both arguments and support my opinion.
Generally speaking, there are two main reasons why people believe that technology is the best way to learn for various purposes. Perhaps the primary reason is that they can learn from anywhere in the world. For instance, any disabled or rural area students can get access to international lectures and knowledge from their place through the internet. Without the technology revolution, it was never possible. A further point in favor of technology-based education is that online tools make learning fun. As a result, students become more focused on their studies, which makes a positive achievement in their learning skills. For example, nowadays, students make good presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint, where they make their assignments using several animation tools. This makes their tasks more impressive and easier.
However, I still feel technology can never replace the need to go to classrooms. Probably the first reason is that students can have direct interaction with teachers. Without physical interaction, learning becomes more difficult for a student. Suppose a teacher can analyze a weak student’s problem and provide advice on it. This is not possible with technology because it doesn’t have this feature. Additionally, students do not only gain academic knowledge but also real-life problem solutions by attending university. There, they can learn teamwork, find plenty of problems, and solve them. If they face a problem, teachers are always eager to help them. This is why educational institutes are important for students.
In conclusion, it must be said that teaching methods have become a complex issue with no easy solution. Despite arguments to the contrary, I very strongly believe that students get more benefits in both the real world and knowledge by attending educational institutes for participation in classrooms.
