Band 5+: In the past lectures were used as a way of teaching large number of students, but now with the development of technology for education, many people think there is no justification for attending lectures. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

In modern times, the issue of progressive technology has decreased the necessity of attending lectures has become highly controversial. I completely disagree with the statement.

There are a number of reasons why I believe in this present time advancement of technology can not undermine the physical lectures in front of students. Perhaps the main reason why I believe this idea is because of involvement with the teachers, when during the classes students can talk with the teachers about topics, that they do not understand during class time. For example, those institutes provide attending lectures their outcomes are better than online-based teaching. Moreover, have some practical classes where students and teachers are used to working, and pupils see those physically. This is very important for better understanding.

A further point I favor of this concept is that teachers can figure out students’ problems. By this time according to the problems, teachers could teach their students. One clear example is that the Harvard University classes conduct attending lectures. Furthermore, the students can assess their teachers, which is very crucial for teachers. As a result, teachers make changes in classes. As well as, teachers can teach some of the skills, which are needed in student life. Those are not possible from a technological platform. such as physical exercise and how doing good behave another person, aids in building better character.

In conclusion, considering the factors discussed above, I believe that will never be possible the technological development does week need attending speeches.

It is argued that the school programme should include subject of practical matters, such as money management or car maintenance. You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Present a written argument or case to an educated reader with no specialist knowledge of the following topic.
