In the past, individuals used to travel seeking new experiences from their home country. However, an attraction places around the world it seems to similar compare to birth-place and grown. This essay will examine both the advantages and disadvantages of this development. I believe the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
Firstly, In recent year, more and more famous companies spread around the world. In Every country, one can find out McDonald’s, KFC, Zara, Nike and other well known companyies. Global companies are making cities around the world look increasingly similar. So London, Tokyo or maybe Toshkent has same shops and similar products. For instance, traditional local restaurants are being replaced by international chains such as McDonald’s and Starbucks, causing unique local cuisines to fade away. As a result, gradual loss of cultural diversity. Local traditions, languages, and customs are slowly disappearing.
One main advavtage is traveling has become much easier and more comfortable for international tourists. When familiar brands, facilities and services are available worldwide, travellers feel less anxious and more confident in foreign countries. For instance, a tourist from Uzbekistan visiting London can easily find familiar restaurants such as McDonald’s or KFC, which makes them feel at home. As a result, more people are encouraged to travel, which significantly boosts the global tourism industry.
In conclusion, although the spread of global companies and international trends has made travelling more convenient, the negative consequences are far more serious. The loss of cultural diversity and unique local traditions is an irreversible damage to humanity. Therefore, governments and local communities should take active steps to protect and preserve their cultural heritage before it disappears completely.
