Students in schools and universities can enjoy new methods of studying thanks to various digital devices and other pieces of technology. It seems that the new era brings only positive features along, however, everything has its disadvantages. In the next paragraphs I will try and discuss both pros and cons of the recent developments.
Without a doubt, computerization of school classrooms and implementation of digital databases make school education much more effective. Students have constant access to any kind of information they are interested in which can be explained to them in any preferable form. In other words, opportunities for studying are much higher thanks to the recent changes.
On the other hand, such a simplification of learning activities can make the next generations addicted to technologies. It is possible that smartphones and laptops will replace other sources of information entirely in a a few decades, so people will not be able to solve a problem without them. In this case, blackout would bring massive disasters, and humatity would be significantly hurt.
In conclusion, technology and science have changed ways of teaching children and young adults as well as they have changed other fields of our society. One can consider this alterings improvements, but I believe that there are not only advantages but also disadvantages in the discussed situation. For having easy access to information future people can pay in losing their independence. I hope that we will find the balance and enjoy features of the progress keeping all essential skills safe.
