It is often argued that in today’s digital age people with a smartphone are able to diminish the value of professional photographers. I strongly agree with it, primarily because of photo prices and availability of takin photos everywhere.
The primary reason for my position is that use phone for taking photo is more available if it is compared with professional photographers one. This is largely due to the fact that individuals who are in wedding or hangout with their friends might easily and fast take photos of interesting moments or just general photo rather than wait professional photographer. In addition, professional photographer is not available everywhere and everyone, but camera of smartphones available always. For instance we were in a wedding with my family and we need to take photo of us. However, photographer has a long queue, therefore we decided to take photo in someone’s smartphone. So, from my point of view i would rather chose my smartphone in order to take photo rather than hire professional cameras one.
Equally important is the fact that use phone for taking photos are cheaper than professional one. Majority of people prefer to buy phones for taking photo, than professional cameras. Since individuals use smartphones not only for photos, but also it has other benefits which does not have cameras. For instance, smartphones can be used for keeping touch with your relatives or listen to music while professional cameras have only one feature and it is taking photos which phones can do as well. In other words, a significant number of individuals would like to chose smartphones, since it has more benefits than professional cameras.
In conclusion, I remain convinced that smartphones diminish the value of professional photographers, as taking photos with a mobile phone is much faster and available everywhere, and smartphones are more affordable because they have many useful features besides taking pictures. Taken together, these factors suggest that more people will prefer using smartphones instead of hire professional photographers in the future.
