The world this day is getting more complicated than in the past, the humans as well. People nowadays have started to take care their appearance more than in the past, they tend to focus more in that stuff, because they believe by fullfilling that thing, it will help them in any things that they are doing such as finding works, finding mate, etc. As the people change into this way, there are two kinds of views relating to this kind of change, firstly is the one that support this kind of change, they believe that appearance is the most importand things in this world, so they tend to spend more money in advancing their appearance, however there is some people that disagree to this view, they think that appearance isn’t a good development, the most important is the skill that may be usefull in any things that one is doing. Both of this views have their own reasons behind them.
The previous view will be mostly coming from the people that have been living in this modern time, where they need to compete a lot in achieving their goals, as the result they tend to support this kind of view. Firstly, they would get work easier, where it can be seen through the data all around the world, mostly the secretary that is working in a company, has a wonderful appearance, where it can be said as the prettiest girl or the most handsome guy in that company, so based on this data, it can be concluded that appearance taking a serious part in getting a job. Second, due to the divorce rate, the reasons behind it mostly relate to the appearance as well, where the husbands thinks that their wife isn’t quite attractive, they would like the wife to always in a good appearance, so they may feel more relax, due to this case, the wifes nowadays would like to spend more in upgrading their appearance, so they will always stay young in appearance, so it will minimize the divorce rate. Third, due to the amount of wealth that someone has, especially for women, they like to spend their money in repairing their appearance, not just the face, even the body part as well, it is because that they don’t know where the money should be spent in.
On the other hand, the following view thinks that spending more money in appearance isn’t a good influence for the people. Despite the world is getting more modern, the unemployed rate is remaining high, there is a correlation between them, where nowadays the children don’t know their parents situation or from which family that they are born, is it from the wealthy family or the poor family, due to the data children from the poor family like to force their parents to buy the make up stuffa for them, but the parents doesn’t really have a stable income for them to affort those kind of stuffs, as a result some children whom can’t think clearly, will doing some terrible things, such as killing their parents, stealing money, etc. In addition, by always focusing on advancing appearance, some people willing to sacrifice their happiness, such as diet, diet is actually a good thing, if it is done in the correct way, however if it is in the over step where it may make someone feel suffered, it isn’t a good thing, although we know that every thing need some sacrification to have a good result, but in some kind of things, it doesn’t really work, especially the one that may make someone losing their life.
In conclusion, both of this view isn’t entirely wrong or correct, they have their own reasons behind it, however I personally think that it isn’t a good development, where people live in this world not because to fullfill someone wishes, beautiful or handsome is a subjective thing, we can’t have a preferance of the beauty and handsome, I believe that as long as one has skill, always be greatful on what one has, and enjoying their life, are the most precious things in this world, don’t just because of appearance, making one to feel tortured, it is meaningless.
