Now-a-days consumption of fossil fuels has increased drastically. Due to this there is a rise in environment issues. However, I partially agree with the statement that increase in fuel price may resolve these issues.
On one hand, surge in fuel costs will indirectly hit other commodity rates. If the prices are increased, then it may lead to inflation because there are several goods which require to be transported from one place to another, which indirectly leads to increased selling price of a product. An ordinary person with low income may not be able to travel anywhere easily, In addition to that, It becomes hard for him to buy fuel if it is required during emergencies.
On the other hand, there will be a decline in the usage of petroleum and diesel which helps to protect the surroundings from smoke. In addition to that, there will be less sound and air pollution. The ozone layer will not only be protected from harmful gases but also can recover from layer depletion. Moreover, this helps in the usage of resources in the right way at the right time ensuring unnecessary usage.
To conclude, It is one’s responsibility to use the resources correctly. if they were not utilised properly, then the government should impose a stringent action. If we protect the environment, then it will protect us. So to keep yourself safe, embrace the natural resources and use it in the right proportion.
