Some people think that increasing number of travellers promote cultural exchange, however, others guess that it will encourage conflicts between regions. This notion should be rejected as one can see many facts in favour of this development between communities.
Travelling provides big opportunities to better understanding host countries when the tourists can interact with local people. Face-to-face conversations have a big impact on impressions of individuals about each other’s nations, and they can learn national traditions, region beliefs, share a view of each other. Eventually, locals usually show hospitality to visitors in order to get the trust. Therefore, this kind of behavior builds necessary condition which can serve as a good substance to make strong relationships between countries.
On the other hand, there is another view that disagrees with the first one since there are many differences in social background, cultural values can be the source of arguments among multinational countries. Dissimilarity may be result of racist behaviors from the local people towards foreigners, for instance, it’s hard to Arabian nation accept guests wearing clothes that are not suitable for their cultural customs, hence this might include non tolerance, disputes and many issues in the friendship of states. Having misunderstanding and disrespecting often lead to poor results, even a war. To avoid such a huge problem government should establish sustainable interrelation.
To sum up, rising positive effect of tourism should not have a harmful effect on two countries, because it is the best way to transfer knowledges and broadcast the local cultures. Otherwise, authority should take responsibility in improving cultural advantage and reduce bad behavior.
