Writing task 2 In the modern world, international tourism has become increasingly popular. Some people believe that international tourism has more negative aspects compared to benefits and some argue this Although global tourism results in carbon emission from aviation, I am fully confident in the latter view because tourism can have positive effect on the country’s economy and development, additionally broadening people’s horizons.

Firstly, advocates support that international tourism offers negative impact such as air pollution by planes and local prices might rise day to day. Air pollution is a major issue around the world. We should not frequently launch and utilize planes and other transportation due to travelling to other countries just to relax and entertain themselves. Other alternatives such as trains or cars have less negative effect on the environment. Moreover, many host countries offer a wide range of facilities such as restaurants, hospitals and different landscapes for relaxation however, the cost of the services is very high and expensive to local residents because of foreign tourists. Consequently, many people might face difficulties based on using public facilities and have harmful effect on the nature. The government should find alternative way to travel another country.

On the other hand, some people are confident that international tourism offers various advantages such as, benefit of the host country’s economy and it broadens people’s mind and fosters intercultural understanding. Throughout the year, many foreign tourists visit different countries and use these countries’ services such as hospitals, local supermarkets and shopping malls. They pay cost for facilities. There are some positive impacts on the country’s economy and development. These all costs are used for enhancing public facilities and renovating of museums and historical buildings. Moreover, international tourism can stimulate face-to-face communication between foreign and local people. As a result, it contributes to global peace and stability.

In conclusion, although global tourism has negative effect on the environment, I personally support that tourism can offer many advantages such as strengthening international bonds and global stability.
