There is a widespread belief that cinemas will close in the future due to the growing tendency of online streaming services for films as well as series. Personally, I completely disagree that this process will happen in the future. This essay will discuss why some people agree with this tendency, while it will also explain why I completely disagree with the statement.

First and foremost, the popularity of cinema is steadily decreasing because of online services. What I mean by this is that, people have more opportunities to find different types of films and series on the Internet. Due to this reason, they do not feel the need to go to the cinema anymore. Online services not only decrease the overall interest in visiting cinemas, but also people simply do not have enough free time to go to the movie theater. To put it simply, the pace of modern life is increasing day by day, and due to this issue, many believe cinemas will disappear one day.

However, there are several key reasons why I totally disagree with this situation. One reason is that there are many individuals whose primary hobby is watching films and series in the cinema. Another reason is that, cinema is a place where people enjoy the atmosphere and they can experience such an amazing and unique situation which is really different from online services. To elaborate, online services at home cannot create this special sensory atmosphere.

To sum up, although cinemas will lose some of their popularity over time, they will never completely disappear due to these important reasons
