Altough it is true that international travels can be both beneficial to tourists and the location, it is difficult to determine whether the benefits exceed the drawbacks. This essay would argue both positive and negative consequences of global tourism.
On the one hand, the concept of international tourism can result in numerous advantages for both travelers and the country that is being visited. Countries with great tourist attractions rely on it as a sector for earning money, due to the fact that tourists spend a great deal of money when they are in that country in order to have as much fun as possible. Moreover, the money that tourism industry provides, assist them to become more developed. Tourists are not exceptional from these benefits, as they are simply exposed to different cultures, they can compare their own quality of life and can take some actions to improve their own lives too.
On the other hand, there are evidences that countries and travelers can sustain some negative effects as well. Some circumstances can affect interational tourist industry badly, such as pandemic. Therefore, countries which are over-reliant on this industry can suffer a significant setback in their finances. Additionally, mass tourism can cause chaos in that country; since tourists do not know the rules in that country, they might neglect to obey them. As a result, that country should work harder to bring back the peace and order.
In conclusion, I believe advantages of international travel can outweigh the disadvantages, and can benefit both countries and travelers.
