Traffic is one of the main problem of modern cities. To solve this problem some people suggest limiting car usage while others think creating better public transport will solve this problem more efficiently. Even though limiting car usage should be helpful, I think creating better public transport is the real solution.
Many people think best way to reduce traffic congestion is limiting car usage. Reducing car number usage will reduce the amount of traffic since there will be less vehicles on the road. During rush hours banning cars can help to reduce traffic congestion and improve usage of public transport. This is why this idea is defended by many people.
Even tough limiting car usage would be helpful, it is difficult to convince people use alternatives of cars. This is why improving public transport is a superior choice. For example if we spare a lane for only public transportation, there will be no traffic on that lane. So using public transport will not be rule, it would be a better choice to travel. So improving public transport a lot easier and more effective.
Finally when I compare both ideas I find improving public transportation is better and easier choice.
