It is obvious that students who want to acquire a foreign language must choose an option between on their own with private tutor or in a group at an institute. Some learners believe it is better to learn a language with a private tutor, while other learners prefer the group at an institute. Before come to a certain decision they must consider factors firstly.
On the one hand, one of the most important benefit of a private tutor is convenience. The convenience at home is quieter compared to the group. Moreover, attention to the student by the teacher definitely will be more and that is why student will be able to get more feedbacks.
On the other hand, interaction is the biggest trouble in a private tutor. While face to face lessons student might scare by making mistakes and often they feel embarrassed to express their opinions to the teacher. As for to the group, there students constantly communicate with each other and they can easily express their thoughts. Also, the students of the group tutors practice a lot of speaking activities and therefore they accomplish results faster.
Another main factor against the private tutor is boring atmosphere. By reason of regular personal learning, students feel bored and demotivated. However, in a group lessons, the competitive atmosphere among the students always boost and improve quality of knowledge.
In conclusion, it is my opinion that it depends on which option is preferable for each individual. Introverts who feel embarrassed to share their thoughts can choose a private tutor and for learners whom love competitive atmosphere and enjoy discussing fascinating topics the second option is better.
