Over the recent decades, globalization is an integral part of people’s lives. There are those who say that globalization has many advantages, however others believe that it has many cons rather than pros. In this essay, I will examine both sides of the argument and provide my overall opinion.
Generally speaking, there a wide range of benefits of globalization. Perhaps the main advantage of it is economic growth and development. This is because countries can trade freely, leading to wealth and job opportunity. Additionally, cultural diversity is another big advantage of it. For example, Bangladeshi girl like so much Pakistani dress, Indian Saree and food also. As a result, they know about their culture and occasion. Furthermore, globalization is very beneficial for tourism marketing. People can know about the popular place about the country by using social media and watching advertisement. Many job opportunity and infrastructure develop for the consequence of it.
Despite these arguments, there are many drawbacks of globalization. The main disadvantage of it is too much dependency. For example, Bangladesh is mostly dependent in China for electronics market. In 2019, China given lockdown for COVID-19, a pandemic situation. As a result, it impacted on the supply chain system which led to product shortage and inflation. Furthermore, environmental degradation is another vital demerit. A good illustration of it, increasing production and transportation lead to pollution and climate change.
In conclusion, this is topic which raises strong passions on advantages and disadvantages of the argument. I believe that, all things considered, the benefits of globalization outweigh the drawbacks.
