In recent years, some people argue that teaching how to plant trees and raise animals for kids is necessary, especially in primary school. Although some argue against this opinion, the advantages of teaching reallife skills to children outweigh the disadvantages.
In terms of negative aspects, exposure to organic and chemical substances when growing vegetables is dangerous to children’s health. With students in elementary level, because their health is weak, they have a poor capacity to prevent illness and are highly sensitive to diseases bringing on chemical breathing. Not only that, children who contact with animals can be allergic to fur and it is difficult to control the anger of animals. That is a reason why many families today do not let their youngsters play with pets.
The biggest advantage is spreading the love of nature to kids. From this love, youngsters have a responsibility to protect the trees as well as the environment. Learning these kinds of lessons would be valuable to their sustainable development and some basic skills in life. This is shown by the fact that schools frequently organize outdoor activities and life skills education programs at a very young age. Furthermore, playing with animals is a way to teach children how to show love, protection, and care to each other, to animals and to people. With numerous factors that contribute to a positive human personality, those lessons are significantly more beneficial than harmful.
In conclusion, there are some drawbacks from creating a caring to nature world might have an impact on the well being of kids, however, I believe that these lessons are important and need to be more organized in school.
