In recent society, animals have become extremely important and they are fully related to human life. In addition, while some people argue that animal extinction happens naturally and people should not prevent it, I partly disagree with this notion for various reasons.
On the one hand, the extinction of animals in nature is an essential part to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. Particularly, if the dominant of any species are widened, that might lead to the extinction since it is an effective way to maintain the equilibrium of natural life. For example, during the ice age, dinosaurs developed rapidly so it restrained the growth of other animals, but after the disappearance of the former, the latter grew fastly. Consequently, the extinction of animals also brings a lot of benefits therefore it is not really necessary to prevent.
On the other hand, in recent days, animals are a crucial part of human life. However, most of them are in danger because of human factors such as the excessive animal product consumption including hide, and horn. Although the extinction also brings benefits, if it is the consequences of human life, people should avoid it. For example, Rhino is in danger because people are hunting for horns, but these horns provide non-benefit. As a result, this might lead to the doom of Rhino. Therefore, we should preserve animals from extinction caused by humans.
In conclusion, even though the disappearance of animals might bring lots of advantages, I contend that protecting animals from extinction should be focused on, especially when it is from human factors.
