There is a suggestion that prices of snacks and fast food should be increased to make the public healthier. In this essay, I will illustrate that increasing prices can effectively stop people from buying snacks and fast food but it may cause improper use of time for most people.
Increasing the prices of snacks and fast food is an efficient method to stop people from buying them because the main reason for people to eat fast food is their convenience and low price. If the price is inflamed, people will not choose them and they will try other meals which is cheaper to replace snakes and fast food. Take the college students for example, they have limited pocket money, so they choose to eat snakes since they want to save money for other things. If the prices is increasing, they will choose to eat fresh vegetables and fruits to save money.
However, there is a shortcoming in increasing the prices of snacks and fast food. Sometimes, people are busy with their jobs, they will opt to eat snacks or fast food to save time instead of having a meal in the restaurant. If the prices are increasing, they may spend more time on cooking which is a waste of time. Nowadays, some college students need to finish assignments on time, they need to do the work all day and have no time to have a meal. Therefore snacks and fast food become important to save time. If the prices increased, students will not have meals on time which will do harm for their bodies.
In summary, increasing prices of snacks and fast food is such an efficient method for stopping people to eat them. However, that may also cause the improper use of time for most people. There should be another better method to overcome this phenomenon.
